This spring, Lloyd EcoDistrict will host its first-ever Sustainable Leadership Awards!

The event will be held at Lagunitas Community Room, a new space in the Lloyd neighborhood that is dedicated to supporting Portland nonprofits – like us! The Community Room was created as a “Thank You” to the city for inspiring Lagunitas Founder Tony Magee to start his own brewing adventure. The story goes, after visiting Portland back in early 90s, he was impressed by the city’s craft brewing scene. The rest, as they say, is history, and we are so grateful that Lagunitas is celebrating its roots and supporting organizations like ours.

Come toast leaders modeling the way and hear our keynote speaker, Green Zebra Grocery’s Lisa Sedlar, address how the triple bottom line is producing meaningful outcomes in our communities today.

As a bonus, local carsharing company ReachNow is offering attendees Model the Way Leadership Awards a $15 ride credit!

  • April Livable Lloyd Meeting, Monday the 17th from 6pm-7pm at the Community Room in the Velomor building on NE 7th and Hassalo.
  • Earth Day Celebration Friday, April 21st 11am-2pm at Hassalo on Eighth.
Go Lloyd is working with a group of students in Portland State University’s Master of Urban and Regional Planning program to explore what people love about Lloyd, and how to make it more welcoming as we grow.
