An Innovative Food Delivery Service

Serving Delicious Dishes That Fight Hunger

Lloyd EcoDistrict is leading the initiative for Lloyd Delivers, an innovative program promoting upstream and downstream solutions to food waste and hunger. Starting in the Lloyd neighborhood and at eBay Portland’s Downtown office, this catering and food delivery program will reduce waste and greenhouse gases while serving catered meals and delivering the leftovers to nonprofits that feed the hungry. Through our partnership with eBay, Portland Pedal Power, Move Food, New Avenues for Youth, Portland Rescue Mission, Lloyd Delivers provides a better choice for corporate lunches and catered events.

Meet Michael Reunert : The Face of Lamp

If you need a lightning assessment of your facility, or if you have a question about the latest developments in LED technology — Michael Reunert is the expert with the answers. We spent some time getting to know him and learned what he likes to do when he’s not changing lives with light.

  • He wanted to be an architect when he was growing up. “My dad was always doing home improvement projects so I learned a bit about buildings. I’ve always liked designing and creating things.
  • When asked about “the most Portland thing” he’s ever done: “Well, I don’t know about the most “Portland” thing… but I certainly do like riding my bike a lot.”
  • If Michael could have any superhero power, he would fly. Without missing a beat, he replied, “Flying.” I think it’d be fantastic to look down from high above and not get stuck in traffic. I’m really something of a thrill seeker.”

When Michael isn’t thinking about where his flying abilities could take him you can find him hiking with his daughters, parachuting and bungee jumping. He’s also tried “canyoneering”, zip-lining, rock-climbing and a few ropes challenge courses.

Thanks for shedding light Michael and we thank you for sharing a part of your story with us!

  • Lloyd Farmers Market, 10am-2pm every Tuesday
  • Irvington Farmers Market, 9:30am-2:30pm every Sunday
