Blumenauer Bridgehead Mural Opening Celebration

Lloyd Community Association invites you to attend our October Coffee Chat and Mural Opening Celebration. Swing by to start your day with free coffee and breakfast treats, meet your neighbors, and learn about the details of Lloyd’s newest public art from the muralist, Jeremy Nichols.

The Lloyd Community Association and other neighborhood groups, including Go Lloyd, Lloyd EcoDistrict, and the Lloyd Enhanced Serves District have initiative different projects aimed at beautifying our neighborhood and creating a more lively and activated space that provides a safer and more welcoming neighborhood for those who visit, live, work, and play in Lloyd.

The mural project on the Metro Garage, located on the north side of the new Blumenauer Bridge is one such project. The 2,614 square feet mural is nearly done and includes references to the Lloyd neighborhood – including our neighborhood’s alternative transportation resources, the Convention Center, the Pollinator Corridor, and more!
