Meet Your D2 Candidates at Our Candidate Speed Dating Event!
Join us for an evening of engaging conversations and community building!
Lloyd EcoDistrict and NEBBA invite you to a unique “Candidate Speed Dating” event. This event allows you to connect directly with the D2 candidates for Portland City Council and is designed to foster intimate, meaningful conversations in a fun and informal setting. D2 – or District Two is the new Portland City Council District that will elect three candidates to represent most of N/NE Portland – including Lloyd.
This event is open to all but is geared toward residents and businesses of the Lloyd, Sullivan’s Gulch, and Irvington neighborhoods.
Agenda:
5:00 – 5:30 PM: Mix and Mingle
5:30 – 7:30 PM: Candidate Speed Dating, including opening remarks
7:30 PM: Event Wrap-Up
Details:
Candidates will rotate between small tables every ~5 minutes, allowing for direct, intimate conversations with attendees. This ensures that everyone has the chance to interact with each candidate.
Lloyd EcoDistrict and NEBBA will provide free snacks and non-alcoholic drinks. Alcohol and additional drinks and food will be available for purchase on-site.
