With June comes summer vacation, block parties, and community gatherings. For the team at Lloyd EcoDistrict, it’s our favorite time of year because we get to be out in this neighborhood. Building community is an integral part of what we do – we are able to serve Lloyd and have a greater impact together. We need this connection now more than ever. We love working with you to make Lloyd a more sustainable, vibrant place. If you live, work, or play here, we need your imput, ideas, and enthusiasm. We look forward to creating a stronger sense of place through our summer projects, including the planting along NE Multnomah and an Intersection Mural. Whether it’s at Pedalpalooza, the Farmers Market, or National Night Out, we can’t wait to meet you! Come find us and say hi.

Planting Along the NE Multnomah Pollinator Corridor!

Get your hands dirty this Sunday as we replant the planters along NE Multnomah. Learn about pollinators, native perennial plants, and local ecology. Help beautify Lloyd, protect pollinator species and habitat, and improve street safety.

We are very excited to welcome the newest member to the Lloyd EcoDistrict team – Anna Manuel! Anna joins us as our summer Program Intern. She is an MBA student at the University of Portland, with a focus in sustainability. Anna has a background in design and marketing, and we’re glad we can help Anna bring her skills and passion to Lloyd’s community.
