Your neighborhood destination for free supply lending in the Lloyd area in NE/N Portland.

As a dedicated community resource, we offer an array of supplies designed to support our neighborhood groups and small businesses. Lloyd Lending Library is proudly brought to you by Lloyd EcoDistrict.

As of now, only small businesses and community organizations in the Lloyd EcoDistrict area are eligible to use the Lending Library.

Planning an event in the area? We’ve got you covered with essentials like pop-up canopies, tables, chairs, and more. Additionally, our lending library provides a range of cleanup supplies to ensure our neighborhood stays enjoyable for all.

Our mission is to foster a thriving and sustainable neighborhood by providing these resources at no cost. Keep in mind that supplies are available to check out for one week at a time. Join us in reducing waste and supporting local initiatives. Explore our inventory and discover how we can assist you in your next event or cleanup project! We will periodically add new items to our inventory based on community feedback.

• Q: Who is eligible to check out supplies?
  • A: Small businesses, non-profits, HOAs/building management teams, and community organizations within the Lloyd EcoDistrict.  For reference, here is a map of N/NE Portland of the area of the Lloyd EcoDistrict outlined in yellow:

  • If you or your event/project are not in this area, you can reach out to eliot@ecolloyd.org to discuss options.
• Q: How long can materials be checked out?
  • A: Supplies can be checked out for up to one week.
• Q: When and where can I pick up supplies?
  • A: Supplies can be picked up from 10 AM – 5 PM Wednesday through Friday at the Lloyd EcoDistrict office in the Lloyd Center, 3rd floor, room 2203. When you check out supplies, you will be prompted to make reservations to pick up and drop off your supplies.
• Q: Can supplies be delivered?
  • A: No, unfortunately, supplies are only available for pickup at the Lloyd EcoDistrict office.
    
• Q: How much does it cost to check out supplies?
  • A: Nothing! This is a free resource for the Lloyd community.
    
• Q: What happens if an item is lost or severely damaged?
  • A: Lendees are responsible for the cost of any severe damage or replacement of any lost supplies. Normal wear and tear is not considered severe damage.
• Q: What are the benefits of the Lloyd Lending Library? 
  • A: The Lloyd Lending Library is a free community resource that empowers local small businesses and organizations by providing supplies to lower the costs of community events and projects. By supporting local initiatives, we reduce waste in the community as well as help foster a sense of community.
• Q: What is Lloyd EcoDistrict?
  • A: Lloyd EcoDistrict’s vision is to ensure Portland’s Lloyd neighborhood is one of the most sustainable neighborhoods in North America, and a leader in equity, resilience, and climate protection at the local level. We do this by setting goals and implementing initiatives in Lloyd addressing connectivity, health & well-being, living infrastructure, peace, place, prosperity, and resource regeneration.
