Energy Trust of Oregon (ETO) has announced changes to their incentives for commercial lighting projects for 2022 and the news is good. Per fixture incentive amounts for LED fixtures are largely unchanged. Incentive caps that had been instituted last year have been raised significantly.  The annual caps are now $20,000 for Commercial sites and $40,000 for Industrial sites.  Incentives for lighting controls have been increased.

In addition to the traditional plan that paid incentives after projects were completed, there are new Instant Discounts for Business Lighting.  These incentives are applied immediately when you purchase qualifying LED lamps and fixtures from a participating distributor and don’t require any additional paperwork.  Fortunately for LAMP participants, our distribution partner, ESCO Supplies, Inc., is participating in this program and can offer instant discounts for customers with sites in the Energy Trust service territory.

LED lighting and controls can enhance the appearance and safety of your commercial property.  Substantial energy and maintenance savings, combined with Energy Trust incentives, can result in projects with excellent return on investment.
