Hi, I’m Kacey! I am Lloyd EcoDistrict’s newest team member, serving as the Communications and Outreach Specialist. I am a junior at Portland State University studying for my degree in Environmental Science with a focus in sustainability. I have a love for our planet and would love to keep it green for future generations. After school, I plan to work on ocean conservation projects. For now, though, I am excited to bring my passion for conservation and connectivity into my role at Lloyd EcoDistrict.

I was born in the Portland area and have lived all around the Northwest since then. I moved back to Portland four years ago and have fallen in love with the local environment- trees, ocean, mountains, Oregon has it all! I live with my wife and dog, and we love to take our EV road tripping as often as possible to soak in every piece of this region. In my free time, I can be found exploring the Pacific Northwest in any way I can—from scuba diving to mountain climbing and everything in between!

After hearing about Lloyd EcoDistrict, I was immediately impressed by their mission not only for environmental sustainability, but also community resilience. I firmly believe that it takes a village to work through hard times, and these past couple of years have certainly brought plenty of hard times. I am so excited to play a role in helping build the strength of the Lloyd community to truly see it thrive.
