Sleeping Pods

Right 2 Dream Too’s day-to-day operations, safety, and visitor oversight is coordinated by the site’s members, who live full-time at the rest area. In the fall of 2017, Lloyd EcoDistrict collaborated with R2DToo, local businesses, and enthusiastic individuals to fundraise to build additional tiny homes on the new site. We raised $23,000 thanks to the generosity and kindness of our neighbors! The units will be modular, low-cost, and made from recycled materials. These homes are critical to the success of R2DToo’s mission, as they provide housing for those that live full time at the rest area, running operations and overseeing the safety and needs of nightly visitors. We look forward to working with students from Benson Polytechnic High School to construct these additional homes early this year!

Thank you to all those that contributed to this campaign:

The sleeping pod building days are scheduled for July 2018. For more details and to volunteer, see our Sleeping Pod Volunteer Sign-Up.
