Duckworth Summer Wednesdays, presented by Subaru of Portland
Join Lloyd EcoDistrict, The Human Access Project, and BikeLoud for bike- and river-powered fun every Wednesday at Duckworth Dock. Dive into the best swimming hole in Portland’s central city, located on the Eastbank Esplanade, with live tunes provided by Bike DJ PopCartPDX. This car-free oasis is only accessible by foot or wheels with many bike racks available right on the dock. Lifeguards on duty and swim ladders along the dock make it safe and easy for everyone to join in the fun.

Weekly Activities:
- BikeLoud Ride: Meet at Ankeny Rainbow Plaza at 5:45 PM for a community bike ride to the dock.
- Live Music: Enjoy tunes from Bike DJ PopCartPDX.
- Swimming: Dive into the best swimming hole in Portland’s central city.
- Vendors and Giveaways: Treats will be available for purchase and giveaway, including hot dogs from Shorty’s Hotdogs, lifejackets from Oregon Metro, and other fun swag.
Getting There:
- Car-Free Access: Duckworth Dock is only accessible by foot or wheels and is located on the Eastbank Esplanade just south of the Steel Bridge. Plenty of bike racks are available right on the dock.
- Parking Nearby: If you need to park nearby, park just under I-5 at NE Lloyd Blvd and NE Oregon St.
- Safety First: At least 2 certified AMR rescue lifeguards will be on duty, and swim ladders are placed at regular intervals along the dock.
What to Bring:
- Swim Gear: Swimsuits, towels, and flotation devices if needed.
- Bikes, Scooters, or Walking Shoes: Enjoy the car-free environment.
- Water and Snacks: Stay hydrated and energized.
