A New Vision for Holladay Park: Get Involved!
Holladay Park is at the heart of the Lloyd neighborhood, yet for years, it has been underutilized and plagued by safety concerns. As our neighborhood grows and evolves, so too must our public spaces. That’s why Lloyd EcoDistrict is excited to introduce the E-Mobility and Resilience Hub, a transformative project to revitalize Holladay Park into a vibrant, safe, and inclusive community hub.
What is the E-Mobility and Resilience Hub?
This project, funded by a one-year planning grant from Oregon Metro, is designed to address the long-standing challenges facing Holladay Park. By integrating modern transportation solutions, enhancing park facilities, and building emergency preparedness resources, we’re laying the groundwork for a healthier, more resilient future for Lloyd—and creating a model that can be replicated in public spaces across Portland.
But this project isn’t just about infrastructure—it’s about community. We believe the best ideas come from those who live, work, and play in Lloyd, so we’re inviting you to get involved.
How Can You Participate?
Regardless of how you engage with the Lloyd neighborhood, there are a ton of ways for you to help!
- Read Up on the Project: We’ve developed a great landing page for the project and promise to update it frequently as progress develops!
- Take the Community Survey: Your feedback will directly influence the design and features of the E-Mobility and Resilience Hub. Whether you have ideas about what amenities should be included or concerns you want addressed, we want to hear from you.
- Join the Community Advisory Team: We’re forming a paid community advisory team to ensure that local voices guide this project every step of the way.
