Starting Tomorrow — 90 Days of Joy, Music, and Community in Lloyd!
Beginning July 1, Lloyd EcoDistrict is launching Lloyd Live at Holladay Park and Lloyd Live at the Dock – two distinct but deeply connected series designed to bring life, laughter, and collective care back into Lloyd’s shared spaces.
These events are part of a bold, community-driven approach to public space, rooted in the belief that connection builds resilience. From riverfront dancing to splash pad picnics, we’re creating space for people to gather, linger, and reimagine what summer in Lloyd can look and feel like.
🌳 Lloyd Live at Holladay Park
From gardening workshops and board game nights to splash pad pop-ups, movies, pet parades, and more, Lloyd Live at Holladay Park is all about consistency, creativity, and community-led activation.

This work is made possible through a Multnomah County Community Vitality & Economic Opportunity Grant, and is being championed by Portland Parks & Recreation. Lloyd Live at Holladay Park is also an extension of our Metro Regional Travel Options (RTO) planning grant, which helped us gather extensive community feedback on how Holladay Park can become a true center of joy, safety, and shared ownership again. Together, these investments are enabling us to pilot what ongoing, neighborhood-centered, trust-building activation can look like. This is about more than just one event—it’s about rebuilding belief that public spaces can belong to everyone.
🎶 Lloyd Live at the Dock
Now in its third season, Lloyd Live at the Dock is back and bigger than ever! Featuring live DJs every Wednesday and bands every Thursday from July 3 through August 29, this series turns the Kevin J. Duckworth Dock into the most scenic dancefloor in Portland.

This year’s expansion is generously funded by Travel Portland, Travel Oregon, Prosper Portland, PNW Climate Week, and Point West Community Credit Union, who see the value in car-free, nature-connected, inclusive events that light up the heart of the city.
While the Human Access Project is now a sideline supporter of this event, we remain deeply grateful for their early leadership in helping shape this unique riverside experience. Their advocacy and vision inspired us to dream big and build real momentum toward a more welcoming, connected Willamette.
