Lloyd Center Celebration of Life Bike Ride

Join the Lloyd Center Celebration of Life Bike Ride, a community ride honoring Lloyd Center’s place in Portland history on its final day open to the public.

The ride begins on Saturday, August 8, with participants meeting at 1:00 p.m. in Holladay Park before departing at 1:30 p.m. Riders will travel through some of Lloyd Center’s iconic parking structures before finishing at the Lloyd Center Ice Rink.

Participants are encouraged to wear their best funeral attire (or a Tonya Harding inspired outfit) as part of this lighthearted farewell to one of Portland’s most recognizable landmarks and the world’s first shopping mall with an ice skating rink. The event concludes with a skating exhibition and an optional jam skate at the ice rink’s final public session. All day skating is $20, including skate rental.
