Spring at Peace Memorial Park

Spring at Peace Memorial Park

Our team would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the 30+ dedicated volunteers who joined forces to make a lasting difference in our beloved park this May. Together, we worked to ensure Peace Memorial Park is a safe and pleasant environment for Lloyd residents and commuters alike.

Armed with gloves, trash bags, and paintbrushes, volunteers collected 300 pounds of trash and painted over several walls and fences within the park. We even had a participant play us some tunes! Check out the photos below.

Special thanks to Human Access Project, who joined in cleaning up Duckworth Dock, Lloyd’s only swimmable dock! We are SO excited to spend time there this summer during Duckworth Summer Wednesdays

The impact of this cleanup works towards our long-term goals of reimaging and constructing an updated park. The dedication and hard work of each volunteer is instrumental in creating a lasting impact that will be enjoyed by visitors for years to come.

Thanks again!
